cylinder and lock parts along with dirt to turn it the grey color. The contaminants allow it to attract moisture and lose lubricating properties as well as freeze in winter. Using a solvent to clean out the old
grease and replace with a white lithium grease sold for door locks would restore the original lubricant.

The graphite lube you show is a graphite powder in a penetrating liquid that evaporates leaving the graphite in place. It should lubricate all the lock parts well but might need additional applications sooner than the white grease but is advertised to not attract contaminates. I think either will work ok. Check the cylinder to make sure it is not worn out and can last another 20 years.
