running out of fuel (Actually kept the CG in limits because of all the little fuel tanks) and try to keep the cabin temp acceptable for all parts of the cabin (not possible). This was really just a psychological test to see if you were suited for the long-term boredom of airline flying. Be glad that you didn't have to start in one of these jobs. The 72 was a rocket ship though that would easily hit the mach limiter in level flight ( .9M), but lots of wing LE and fowler flaps to reduce approach speeds.
