I have a Lot of Marklin HO scale trains with tracks, accessories, manuals, and brochures, mostly from 1960-1962.
It had been owned by my grandfather since new and all items are from the FAO Schwarz location in Manhattan(where he worked at the time). He passed over the spring and I'm just helping the family sell off some of the items no one has any attachment to.
The tracks look practically unused, the transformer controller looks brand new and works. I've only had a chance to test the Sante Fe Locomotive which works flawlessly. Some of the engines look to be missing some minor parts, but it seems most of the stuff is readily available to fix up from Marklin.
I don't have a clue to what its worth as a lot, but it seems after adding of individual items the lot is worth somewhere between $1,000-$1,500.
