My wife's 20,000 mile old 2011 TReg lost power on way to VIR race track, we were enjoying not towing race trailer, as team had towed with 48' commercial trailer.
Dropped Treg off in Lynchburg VW dealer who just informed us that the damaged HPFP, high pressure fuel pumps and system were damaged by algae in fuel and would not be covered. We have fuel slips from local Citgo station used to fuel this vehicle. All warranty prescribed service performed by local VW dealer.
Estimated repair cost >$10,000!
Anyone have similar experience?
Success in getting VW warranty coverage?
I also have 2007 TregV10 and Dodge and Ford Diesel trucks.
Who says Diesel trucks will save you $$???
