on my wife's GTI a few years ago and took them off in a couple of weeks. They had very little bite when cold and stopping was downright scary. Went with HP+ next that worked great but were noisy. Next change up was StopTech streets and they were good all around, for the most part.

Dust has never been a criteria for me when choosing pads; stopping power, torque curve, longevity and braking/release characteristics have been key things I look for. Call me crazy ;)
