They sheared off at the hub, I'm taking it to a shop tomorrow so hopefully the remnants spin out easily. These have been in for 4 years and I always torque them by hand for whatever that's worth.
If you've had them installed for awhile you may want to replace them early.

I've never had a broken bolt in 4 track seasons.
Are your wheels cone seat or (like factory) ball seat? Make sure they match.

an offering for you guys. I'd look into them though. Real high quality stuff. Have had a few sets of these, and so far very happy with them. I have the Pro Series on my Exige and I like those best. They have a rounded end that's friendly to the wheels and make putting them on quicker/easier.
And with the amount of days you put on your car, I think WELL worth the $$$.I have the Apex Race Studs. Have not had an issue, yet, but I view these as a wear item. Posted by: S5Cab (3245) on 2016-10-10 14:29:28

Share | Reportwere all on the left front. Thirty seconds with the touch to heat them up slightly was enough to finally get them out. The new ones with the bullet nose are really nice plus I like the black finish they have. The old ones were really starting to show some wear and corrosion so I'm glad I changed them out now before any of them decided to break.
