The outboard lights are the stock brake lights. That location is all the car had before for both running lights and brake lights.
The new inboard brake lights are the brake lights I added with the LED projector bulbs from Diode Dynamics.
So the car went from 2 to 4 brake lights and one set is much brighter than normal.

I need to get some pictures at dusk to show the effect better.
